FCS West Africa Limited is our dedicated Service Company providing proactive support for our customers in East and West Africa by continually upgrading Kodak Solutions and Software Applications

We support our regional offices in Nigeria, Ghana and representation in Kenya through this Service company that incorporates in our annual service contracts, taken out by clients after the initial warranty period, and supported by regular preventative service items for all Kodak and Miraclon machines that can be purchased from our local offices. T

his proactive and preventative approach minimizes break downs and customer downtime.

All our local engineers are fully trained and certified by Kodak thus ensuring very high standards. The engineers update their knowledge on a regular basis by attending training courses with Kodak and Miraclon in Europe. Our Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya teams are then supported by our Service Manager in the UK, together with our whole network of service personnel, who are extensively experienced in both hardware and software applications.

Both Kodak, Miraclon and FC Group's UK support personnel visit Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Ethiopia on a regular basis to ensure everyone is totally up-to-date on the latest innovations and developments.

    What does Preventative Maintenance (PM) Include?

  • Bi-Annual (02) visits for each equipment to ensure reliability and consistency (free engineer labour - parts charged as extra)
  • We provide three levels of contractual support (Gold, Silver & Bronze) as well as ad hoc support on a Time & Material (T&M) basis
  • Our Bronze contract whilst including labour costs for two PM visits adds a discounted onsite labour charge for other breakdown visits
  • Our Silver contract has the benefit of inclusive onsite labour costs for all breakdown visits
  • Whilst our Gold contract includes exchange cover for the Thermal Head which is the heart of the CTP system and the most expensive single item. Thermal Head exchange cover, with this service contract is provided by Kodak and Miraclon, our manufacturers.
  • With all these contracts we provide support for the CTP, Prinergy System and Processing Equipment.
