FC Group Completes One of Its Many Upcoming Installations after a Successful Q1 Equipment Sales, Amidst Covid-19 Pandemic, in 2021

FC Group has completed its first of many installations, following an excellent Q1 Equipment Sales., at West African Packaging Limited, a printing, packaging and stationary products Outlet based in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.

West African Packaging Limited, a printing, packaging and stationary products Outlet based in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria was amongst many of FC Group customers responding to the unfolding crisis by planning with our sales team to adapt quickly to the new reality.

They took a decision to purchase a KODAK TRENDSETTER Platesetter CTP in spite of the many uncertainties surrounding the pandemic citing they wanted to be ready and dynamic to reap the benefits from new opportunities presented by the changing business reality. West African Packaging Limited is into printing, packaging, notebooks, stationery, plastic bottles, toothbrush and lamitubes production and have been in Nigeria in the past 3 years. They’re also into producing mono cartons, posters, flyers, calendars and other printing jobs.

Humphrey Wambugu, our top engineer with tremendous Kodak technical know-how and knowledge, assisting in managing our outfit in Kenya for East and Central African markets, walked the team through the plate set-up using KODAK ELECTRA XD Thermal Plates, after successfully installing the Trendsetter for West African Packing Limited. Kunle Ogunjobi our Engineer based in Nigeria assisted with getting the site ready and getting the equipment to site with Humphrey. Mr Reddy and the production team at West African Packaging Limited, after installation, were then walked through how to output XD plates and were later given extensive training by FC Group’s engineer Humphrey Wambugu.
