Fenton and FC Group’s One Week Trip to Kenya and Propak East Africa 2025 Comes to a Successful End!

It was a week of meetings with key flexo and offset customers and prospects, plus an exciting 3-day expo providing a wave of business solutions, innovation, networking, and knowledge sharing in packaging, printing, plastics, food processing and beverage processing.

Housing over 150 exhibitors from more than 35 countries, FC Group, and partners Kodak and Miraclon were delighted to have gone for a bigger 27 Sqm stand at a prime location to foster greater connections.

Kenya's packaging sector, valued at $585 million and growing at nearly 5% annually, supports various industries like food, pharmaceuticals, and personal care. The demand for Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs) is driven by the "kadogo" economy, emphasising smaller packaging. Kenya's paper and plastic exports are on the rise, with plastic packaging dominating exports to Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. Trends include a shift towards reduced plastic use, circular economy initiatives, and innovations in lightweight and convenient packaging solutions.

The Printers & Copiers market in Eastern Africa is projected to grow by 3.75% from 2024 to 2028, resulting in a market volume of US$197.0 million in 2028.
