A message from Fenton, MD FC Group

Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful!

The year 2021 has been a good one for FC Group in many ways despite the many challenges including shipment vessel delays, inflated freight prices faced by businesses world-wide—not to mention the rising global aluminium prices which is affecting plate business for many manufacturers.

Through it all we have managed to navigate the challenges and have seen a record sale this year, not seen since the inception of the business. This success has not been through a lack of leadership and a complete rethink of how we do business. We continue to develop better team cohesion using Microsoft Teams and interact more and effectively through creative communication with our customers and partners. We've also progressed well with our charities including the inception and sponsorship of Team FCG Cycling in Ghana, support of the Vida Cycling Programme for young female cyclists and our Library Project due to be completed in Spring 2022.

Another key highlight for FC Group this year is taking on Kodak's Thermal CTP, Consumables, Licencing and Service Support for East and Central Africa, since July 2021, where we've made significant progress. The decision by Kodak to give us this additional territory was not only based on our remarkable success in West Africa and our track record but because we've been serving this market with Kodak Digital and Flexcel NX solutions since 2017. Our NexPress (Digital) business has been very successful in West Africa in 2021.

We understand the East African market comes with its own nuances and challenges, but we are of a firm belief that providing our customers in the region with a complete solution, not just focusing on pricing, but ensuring our customers and their businesses enjoy equipment longevity, which in the long run will make them more profitable, is key. We are making great in-roads and believe East and Central Africa will, once again, benefit from Kodak and Miraclon's revolutionary technologies through our offering of a 'complete solution'. Our success in West Africa is our testament to this belief!

As we approach 2022 our outlook is to continue, as a team, to strike for more great wins. We boast of extremely knowledgeable engineers and sales teams in UK, Lagos, Accra, and Kenya, we have a great equipment pipeline and are hopeful. We'll continue to support our customers and our charitable deeds in the regions we serve and would like to thank each one of you for your continued support.
