FC GROUP OPENS THE MAYA ABOU-JAOUDE MEMORIAL LIBRARY AT NINGO PRAMPRAM, GHANA

In the presence of distinguished Heads of Ningo Traditional Council, Executives of State Institutions, Head of Teachers and Staff of Schools, friends and colleagues of FC Group and the Twins Foundation, Fenton was honoured to commission the opening of the Maya Abou-Jaoude Memorial Library, sponsored by FC Group and Associates, on Friday 12th of January 2024.

The library is a testament of FC Group’s commitment to making a positive impact in communities where it finds immense potential and does business. The vision of the library was birthed in honour of the memory of Maya Abou-Jaoude of blessed memory and sister of Zeena. And FC Group is a proud sponsor.

Libraries as we all know are more than just buildings filled with books. They are places where people can come together to learn, grow, and connect. Maya Abou Community Library is no exception. The library facility is stocked with books to help improve reading and an IT hub to enable young ones to have hands on experience in IT to broaden their knowledge in our fast-evolving global village.

The Maya Abou-Jaoude library is more of a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to explore new ideas, discover new passions, and connect.

According to Fenton Curley, MD of FC Group “I am proud to say that this library is the result of a truly collective effort. In 2018, the dream and vision of having a library in this locality seemed like a huge challenge. Thankfully, with diligence, determination, and by pulling strings from donors across the board in aid of the project, this vision five years down the line has become a reality".

Fenton and the entire team at FC Group would like to thank the Chief and elders of Ningo-Prampram, Zeena of the Twins Foundation and her team, donors, volunteers and the community at large. Together, we have created a space that is welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to all.

But our work is not done. We must continue to come together to support the children and the community at Ningo Prampram to ensure the Library remains resourceful in the coming years. If you are interested in supporting our worthwhile charity projects please contact us.
